As an insurance executive, Michael brings a vast range of experience in the insurance industry to help you solve your most challenging issues.
He has held key executive positions, managing both domestic and international accounts at leading firms — Guy Carpenter & Co LLC, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc., and Sedgwick Re, a subsidiary of Sedgwick Group PLC. He has also held various positions in the insurance industry.
His experience extends to a broad array of areas, including risk management, operational strategy, brand marketing and sales. He has led the design and execution of numerous integrated risk-transfer transactions that were successfully market tested after some of the most severe catastrophes of the decades.
Throughout his career Michael has advised many industry executives around the world, helping international insurers forge partnerships in the U.S., as well as establish stand-alone subsidiaries.
Michael has worked with management and investors on successful venture start-ups and company expansions, helping firms refine their risk transfer strategies in preparation for both an IPO and privatization. He is a member of the Board of Directors of a private reinsurance company.
He has also worked with government entities and presented before state legislature members, boards and commissioners. His inclusive network of clients, industry executives and governmental agencies allows him to draw upon an extensive network of C-Suite industry contacts.
